Following up this article.. Tepco’s spokesman “I have distrust in Tepco itself for not announcing the wrong analysis for this long” [URL]

The reason why Tepco didn’t announce that they measured 5,000,000,000 Bq/m3 of strontium-90 from groundwater was because it was out of concern.

Tepco’s spokesman stated that in the press conference of 2/17/2014.

They obtained the analysis result by September of 2013.
