Katsutaka Idogawa entered hospital

Katsutaka Idogawa entered hospital; the mayor of the town that hosted a part of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plants. Mayor Idogawa was the only mayor in Fukushima prefecture who decided to officially relocate his town's population and the administrative functions outside the prefecture in his authority in order to save the lives of his town's residents. Although there is an intention of the members of local assembly to bring the town's administrative base back into somewhere inside Fukushima prefecture, which clearly reflects the national government's policy to lead the evacuees to return to the radiation areas, he has been persistently rejecting their proposals. Now, he is accused by the members of local assembly with farfetched excuses. Last month, the assembly passed the non-confidential motion against mayor Idogawa. The presence of this mayor is the hope for Fukushima originated refugees to maintain the idea that evacuation is the policy which the national government should be promoting. Share this message to save this mayor and the people in Fukushima for the sake of humanity and dignity.
